We are most happy to announce that our apps have passed Google’s verification.

Email Detail Migrate and Email Detail Archive both need access to Gmail account if a user wants to convert Gmail emails. Email Detail Archive make copies of emails in Gmail and saves them as PDF files. Email Detail Migrate saves Gmail emails as EML, PST, MBOX files. To make the process quick and easy for our users, we Google APIs to access Google users’ data.

We have submitted our first OAuth App Verification request back in September. Each app had to be reverified for compliance with the Google APIs Terms of Service, Google’s API Services User Data Policy, and the Additional Requirements for Specific Scopes. The Trust and Safety team contacted us every time we didn’t meet any requirement (and there are dozens of different requirements). However, the specialists were quite friendly and helped us a lot.

In 2 months and a ton of emails we have completed a security assessment, so now Email Detail Archive and Email Detail Migrate are 100% safe to be used to convert emails from your Gmail account.
